A Free 1-Day Online Gathering to help Christian women navigate the added loneliness that comes with the holiday season.

November 13, 2023 – 12:00pm EST
Connect, in a safe place, with others who are also wondering if they’ll survive the holidays after loss, where you can talk about the one you miss with women who get it.

Watch the video below to learn how this FREE event will help you get through the grief that comes with the holiday season.
You’ve realized by now that time doesn’t heal all wounds and as the holidays get closer it’s just getting harder.
You’re getting a lot of things right:
✅ You’re actively seeking out help and support for the holidays (that fact that you’re here is a great start).
✅ You are getting through the day (regardless of how that looks right now).
✅ You’re genuinely want to know how you can go on after your life-changing loss and looking for things that will help you do that.
✅ You have talked with God about your grief (even if it’s to question Him).
✅ You might have turned off the TV to stop being bombarded with ads for gifts for the person you lost.
But you feel:
😔 You’re living out the movie ‘Groundhog Day” where every day is the same – painful and too hard.
😔 The tears will never stop falling and life will never be good again.
😔 The holidays will be too much to handle without your loved one.
😔 No one understands the depth of the loss you’re experiencing.
😔 You’ve been left behind and God doesn’t hear you.
😔 You don’t know who you are anymore and need a reason to carry on without your loved one.
Maybe right now you…
👉 Are preparing for your first or second holiday season alone and the idea of family or social get-togethers or singing “O Holy Night” seems meaningless.
👉 Are doing the best you can to get through each day and can’t imagine how you’re going to get through the holidays when things get even harder feeling resentment that you must go through the holidays and face the traditions you built with your loved one without them.
👉 Are already sick of the commercials and want to stay in bed from Thanksgiving Day to January 3rd because any kind of celebration is too much and a new year will be a year your loved one will never experience.
👉 Can be in a church service with hundreds of people yet you feel completely alone and guilty that you want nothing to do with being thankful or celebrating Christmas even though you are a Christian.
👉 Work hard to be “ok” in front of others because you don’t want to bring them down, but it just makes you feel even more isolated that you don’t have others who understand.
👉 Need somewhere you can go to be with people who understand the endless tears, the ugly cry and the fear of the future.

Meet Your Host
Hey, I’m Stef. Southern by choice, turtle triathlete, wife, and Jesus follower. I’ve experienced life-changing grief and struggled for years with physical changes, the emotional roller-coaster and spiritual questioning. I asked ‘why’ more times than I can count, went ‘boldly’ (and disrespectfully) to the throne, and was confused by a pain I had never felt before. I believed I could never be happy again and had all but given up on fulfilling my purpose.
I couldn’t even say my name at my first grief group meeting. I hated the holidays and didn’t want to be around happy people. I didn’t feel thankful during Thanksgiving, couldn’t celebrate the reason for Christmas and didn’t want to walk into another year of loss.

I’ve been right where you are, and I now know that there is hope on the other side. Through my struggles, I discovered a path to true healing, deeper relationship with God and gratitude that continues to fill my heart. This is a story of faith, support, and redemption that only God can author. And I want to share this with you.
Believe it or not, there’s hope for your future! And it starts by learning how to navigate the loneliness of the holidays with others who get it.
Grab your ticket and join me, 6 grief experts and fellow travelers for a one-of-a-kind event that will help you survive the holidays, connect with other women who understand the pain of loss and learn how to breathe, laugh and live again!
I can’t wait to see you! Ugly sweaters and the ugly cry are ok here! Well, maybe not the ugly sweaters. 🙂
This is the help and hope you’ve been praying for!
The Holiday Grief Relief Summit was created with Christian women in mind.
You don’t need a worldly grief support theory that gives you clichés or superficial help. And you don’t need ‘religious’ support telling you that your faith will take away your pain. Neither of those are helpful nor truthful.
Good news! That is NOT what you’re going to find at this summit.
We do not want you to be uninformed about those who have fallen asleep, so that you do not grieve in the same way as the others, who have no hope. I Thes. 4:13
The Holiday Grief Relief Summit was specifically created for Christian women who are going through your first or second holiday after loss.
Instead of talking about what stage of grief you are currently in, this summit is about helping you connect with others, to help you understand how grief affects your body and learn how to take action to get through the holidays and the days ahead.
Ya know how being around other believers is easier because you share the same core beliefs? Well, being around other grievers (ok, I don’t like that word either) is the same – it’s easier to “just be” with other Christian women who understand the pain and confusion of grief.
When the summit is over, you will be equipped to get through the holidays, to honor your loved one now and in the rebuilding of your life and you will KNOW that you are going to make it through this.

Choosing Joy Over Sorrow

Kathy Brasby is an author, speaker, and teacher living on a hobby farm in northeast Colorado.
Asked in 2021 to speak at a Christian women’s conference on the topic of hope, Kathy began compiling stories of people who have remained faithful to God in the midst of very difficult circumstances. As she was finishing up the book, her husband died within six weeks of being diagnosed with cancer.
She found the lessons she had learned from the people in her book helped her move forward in spite of her own devastating loss. She was able to complete the book and dedicated it to her husband.
She writes stories of hope, trusting God as her comfort and presence. She’s faced other losses in her life–two miscarriages, loss of both parents and her father-in-law–and trusts that God has never left her alone.
She writes stories of hope and is also a Bible study teacher and speaker. She earned a BA in English from the University of Northern Colorado and an MA in theological studies at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

After losing her beloved fiancé in 2018, her grandmother in 2020, and her precious 19-year old son, her “baby” boy, in early 2022, Jessica felt the Lord speak into her heart the need for local support for those grieving the loss of loved ones. Inspired by the boldness of her son Alex, who rests eternally in the arms of Jesus, she initiated a grief support program at her “home” church and serves on the bereavement ministry team at her local church.
Jessica believes that sharing the hope in grief, and the grace and mercy of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is an integral part of finding healing through tremendous loss.

He was with Courtney every moment, healing her heart with the strength of His love.
Now Courtney has made it her mission to help other grieving mamas know that there IS another side to the pain. Courtney is the host of the Unlocking Joy After Grief podcast where she shares all the things she’s learned along her own grief journey to help you start the healing process over your broken heart. This is what I want you to know about me. Just as you I am woman who has suffered loss.
My marriage started with knowledge of my husband’s past addiction to drugs. The past would become present, the present would be our future for many years. Finally, only by the grace of God were those addictions placed back in the past.
What a sweet time!
Then cancer.
Then Dan’s appointed time…he completed his race!
No longer a wife, helpmate, caregiver or couple.
Who am I now?
A child of God, a daughter of the King, a joint heir with Jesus, an Ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven.

✨ Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers! ✨
What will I learn at the Holiday Grief Relief Summit?
The Holiday Grief Relief Summit is specifically for Christian women going through the loss of a loved one. While you will learn how grief effects your body, we are gathering together for encouragement, inspiration and hope! You’ll hear the journeys of other women in their first and second years of grief just like you.
There aren’t many summits or other faith-based grief resources specifically for women out there, so this summit is important to help you through the holidays, connect with others and know how to best heal.
How do I know whether this summit is right for me?
If you have been searching for help getting through the hardest time of your life but haven’t found something that fits your beliefs or led you to real healing – well, you have just found the place and your people. This is not by accident!
We’ll be specifically talking to Christian women who have lost a loved one but, the summit is also for anyone who wants to better understand the grief process. Also, if you know someone who has lost a loved one, you are welcome to join us too!
What kind of loss is this summit for?
The Holiday Grief Relief Summit is for Christian women whose loved one (parent, spouse, child, sibling friend or “go-to person”) has died.
If you are heading into your first year of grief and don’t know what to expect OR if you’ve already been through your first holiday, we’ll share the truth that people don’t often tell you about the second year.
What if I’m having one of those “hard days” and can’t make it.
You can “show-up” in your pajamas with Kleenex (we get it) but if that’s still too much, please come with your video/audio off. Don’t wait to feel better to come because the Summit will help you feel better. You can also consider grabbing the Extended Access Relief Bundle to watch the entire summit at a later time. You’ll get the details about the upgrade option after you register for free.
When is this thing happening?
The Summit will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 beginning at 12 noon EST. You can join the Facebook community as soon as you register, so you can start connecting with others right away! (oh, and make sure to check your time zone so you won’t miss it)
What if I’m not able to attend live?
While most of the presentations for the summit are pre-recorded, there are some live elements, so we encourage you to attend live if you can! We would love for you to set aside some time during the summit day to watch the presentations, and participate with others who are taking action to prepare for the holidays and heal in the days after.
However, if you’re not able to attend the summit live, go ahead, and grab your free ticket, and then you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade to Extended Access Relief Bundle for extended access with bonuses.
How long will I have access to the presentations?
Your free ticket includes the live summit on November 13th at 12 noon EST. If you need more time, you can always upgrade your ticket to the Extended Access Relief Bundle after registering, which will give you extended access to the presentations along with premium bonuses from our speakers and more!
Are the presentations live?
The presentations aren’t live, but we will be!
To avoid tech glitches, give you the best possible experience, and keep things easy for the speakers, the presentations are pre-recorded and will be released at the summit.
And, some of the speakers will be hanging out after the presentations air to answer your questions live. They will also be in our private Facebook group with dedicated threads where you can connect with them and ask your questions!
Will all the speakers get my email address?
No. When you register, you’ll be added to the Grief 2 Great Day email list so we can send you updates for the event and links to join the live Summit. After the summit is over, you’ll continue to hear from us, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
Each of the speakers will have free resources available that you can access by providing an email address, but the speakers will not get your email address unless you choose to give it to them specifically. That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don’t have to worry about getting added to email lists that you’re not interested in.
You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.
I still have questions!
If you still have questions, we encourage you to go ahead and sign up. Your questions will likely be answered during the event or in the Facebook community, which you’ll be able to join right away after grabbing your free ticket.
However, if you need to ask us a question before registering, feel free to send us an email at stef@grief2greatday.com.
