What to Expect

Christian Loss & Life Coaching Breakdown

SESSION ONE

Think of our first online meeting as if you’re going to have coffee with a friend who understands that you aren’t ok, so you don’t have to pretend to be.

You’ll have your tissues ready, and I’ll have my pen and paper to take a few notes. It’s your choice to have your video on or off.

Share as much or as little as you want about your loved one, how you are doing, your greatest struggle and what you hope our time together will do.

We’ll determine where you are in the grieving process and if you are ready, I’ll give you one actionable step toward your healing which, I promise, won’t add to your overwhelm.

Each session is on-line and 1 hour in length. After the session, I’ll follow up with you via email and provide gentle accountability for next steps.

This is a safe and confidential place.

FUTURE SESSIONS

Will be based on our first meeting and may include:

→ how to deal with the unbearable pain,

→ what to do when you have a million questions that keep you up at night,

→ going to the grocery store and other small tasks that bring big emotions,

→ address guilt and the what ifs,

→ questioning your faith and God,

→ how to best take care of yourself even when you don’t want to and more

“I feel like Stef is just the friend I need during this terrible season of grief.”

Don’t suffer alone and don’t allow yourself to get stuck with thoughts of hopelessness! These sessions are no-pressure conversations with a fellow traveler who “gets it” and can help you.

I can’t make the pain go away but I can give you the steps to heal and to find purpose after loss. There is hope for your future!

Hey Fellow Traveler!

I know what it’s like to watch someone you love die; to sit in a corner and scream, to be angry with God and to hurt so badly you can’t describe it with words.

Let’s start with this one statement which may be incredibly helpful to you right now. It’s Grief – You’re Not Crazy!

You need to know there is life on the other side of grief. Maybe you can’t even breathe right now and the thought of laughing or being happy again seems unrealistic.

So many changes are occurring in your body – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Your world has been turned upside down, but you can survive – and even thrive.

You will breathe, laugh, and live again.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, and a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on Community Grief Support.  But more importantly, God gave me the heart and passion to help you walk through your hardest moments.  One step at a time, I’ll show you how through coaching and support programs.

There are no platitudes and no pressure here!  I know what it’s like and will support you in ways that only a fellow traveler can!

The healing you want is real! Let’s work together so you can experience a “great day” again.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future.

 Jeremiah 29:11

Are You Ready To…

…take just one brave step in your healing?

reach out for help (even though you want to be left alone), understand why there is hope, and work through the grief on your terms without having to leave your house?

There is hope and help! You can heal and get to the point that you are ready to create a life for yourself. If that sounds far away or even impossible, you are in the right place.

BRING YOUR COFFEE & TISSUE AND LET’S GET TOGETHER ON ZOOM.

“I felt like I was resting into the most comfortable easy chair when I heard Stef’s voice and the truth and transparency in her words.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this Grief Counseling?

A: No, this is a fellow traveler walking the journey WITH you. The online coaching and support program provides “do-able” steps, some tears and a little laughter that only someone who has been through grief can give.

Q: How Do I Know This Will Help?
A: I’ve been where you are. I was lost. I cried every day for over a year. I didn’t think I would survive, and I was sure I’d never be happy again. But God. Not only did I survive, but I’m thriving. I can help you get from the place of not being able to breathe, to deal with the guilt and the “what ifs,” to rebuild a meaningful life that will honor your loved one.
Q: Will This Help Me Get Over Grief?
A: With the best coaching and counseling in the world, you will never “get over” grief. You have just suffered a tremendous loss and that loss doesn’t ever go away, but you do learn to carry it differently, you learn to rebuild, and you can get to the place of having a ‘great day’ and a great life. (believe it or not)
Q: Can I Get a Refund If I’m Having A Bad Day And I Have To Cancel?
A: I’m happy to reschedule one time because I understand those rough days where it feels impossible to pull it together. After one reschedule, there are no refunds because I also understand the need to do the hard things in order to heal and move forward.
